Structure

|
|
Magnolia Christian Center is a
boarding school that provides a wholesome, structured environment for
teaching traditional values and character development. Our programs are
designed around providing structure for young males in need of
guidance. This structure takes the form of schedules and routines that
the boys can count on every day. The staff of MCC is trained to present
a consistent environment the expects respect and discipline from the
boys as a routine.
These routines are designed to build values that will help your son
develop the self-discipline and character to handle adversity in life.
MCC will offer your child a training experience th! at he will never
forget and that he will look back on as the beginning of a successul,
meaningful life with Christ. MCC accepts your son as a member of our
family - a family that will insist on nothing less than his best
effort. Upon graduation, it is our prayer that he has been prepared
mentally, physically, and most importantly, spiritually to meet the
demands of everyday life.
|
| Your
son's daily schedule will provide time devoted to each of these areas: |
| |
-Devotionals
-Homework
-Meals
-Excercise and physical training
-Work and chores
-Schoolwork
-Personal hygiene
|
|
All participants are treated
equally and will attend devotion, meal, and chores. Privileges such as
TV, swimming, games, horseback riding, and other activities must be
earned. Privileges are granted and can be taken away if neccessary
|
|
One of MCC's core principles is
Responsibility. One means of teaching respon! sibility is having the
boys learn to take care of themselves and their living quarters. The
boys are rotated among assigned chores every day from a daily job list.
